Humboldt County Intergroup

What is Intergroup? Humboldt County Intergroup is an A.A. service entity that involves a partnership among groups in a community—just as the A.A. groups themselves are a partnership of individual members. Intergroup exists to support the groups in their common purpose of carrying the A.A. message to the still suffering alcoholic.

HCI, as we affectionately call it, meets once a month, on the first Monday at 6:30 PM using Zoom. The numbers are 985 0863 7587. The password is the same as what most groups in our zip code use.

HCI puts on many fun and educational events, (even an annual campout!) for Humboldt County AA members, as does Del Norte Intergroup in Del Norte County to the North of us. HCI also maintains the Humboldt County Help-Line.  If you would like to volunteer to answer the phone at certain hours, please send your contact info to:  Humboldtanssvc@gmail.com

District 15, HCI and H&I traditionally combine efforts to hold a UNITY DAY each June, where the Area 06 Delegate reports about the General Service Conference in New York. We eat food, have games and enjoy our fellowship. Speakers from each of our local service entities; District 15, HCI and Hospitals and Institutions share what the responsibilities are of their service
